My grandmother Beatrice was always the life of the party. She taught me to have fun, enjoy the beautiful things in life and not take things too seriously. She was a little bit of glitz, chocked full of charisma, and topped off with a lot of heart.

Rachel Carr loves a good party. In fact, she loves them so much, she's been planning them for over 20 years. Her passion for party styling and planning was ignited at the young age of 16 during her first job working at a local flower shop. Since then, her experience has blossomed to creating weddings, parties, corporate events and much more to fit her client’s vision.
After graduating from James Madison University with a degree in Theatre & Dance, she went on to work in a variety of positions within the event planning field; including meeting and conference coordination for non-profit organizations and special event planning for the National Gallery of Art.
In 2008, she stepped in to her first entrepreneurial role with the creation of Atelier Floral Design with her long-time friend Jennifer Henel, offering wedding décor and planning services in the DC metro area. Over the last few years Rachel has planned awards shows, exhibition, yoga retreats, kids parties, holiday events and much more. Her attention to detail, creativity and organizational skills help her stand out among the rest.
